My wife just got me a Battlestation II Arcade Controller as a present. I only played with it for a few minutes, but the thing screams quality. For those of you who have never heard of it, it's an extremely well built arcade-style controller that works on several class systems(see links below for pictures) It comes with all the cords to play on the following systems: NES/SNES/Genesis/master system/atari computer and a few others.

I played a little Aero Fighters on the SNES and I really liked the feel and response of this controller. Apparently it was made in Australia, so that may be why I never saw it before.

The only problem is I can't get it to work with my 2600. The box says it works with Atari Computers, so I don't know why it wouldn't work on the 2600? Anyone have one of these and does it work on your 2600?

Here's some info on the controller:

That's weird that it doesn't work on the Atari.
Does the 2600 supply 5V to it's joystick ports?

I have no idea. I want to break out the XEGS and test it on that. I have a ton of great atari controllers so it isnt that big of a deal. I am really loving how this controller feels on the SNES. Aero Fighters is a blast and feels just like an arcade game now.

No one else has this bad boy? Great stick, and it is going for a great price. I highly recommend picking one up!

According to the pictures on the SMS site you posted it's compatible with the Commodore 64 and the Amiga, as well as the NES/SNES and SMS/Genesis. There wasn't any mention of Atari systems. Really awesome arcade stick though, how much are these selling for?

The box also lists Atari Computers.
They go for $50. They are very well built and handle excellently.

I wonder if you just have to play with the switch that sets it for either C64 or Amiga to get it running with an Atari system. If I hadn't spent so much money recently I would drop the cash on that ebay link you posted.

I've got that same controller and actually just swapped in Happ sticks. Mine works fine on the 2600. I plugged it into the sms port. I just can't get it to work on the colecovision.
