I just got a Sega 1 from a Thrift Store for $6.00, but it didn't have any of the component cables. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do the hack which involves using a PC mouse input, and using it to go in the Sega's A/V output.

I've heard you just splice some RCA wires to connect to the cut mouse wires, but for pins from the mouse to fit correctly in the Sega I have to remove certain pins? Any help on this would be appreciated. @_@

Are you talking about a SG-1000 a Master System or a Megadrive/Genesis? The A/V cables for the Master System & Megadrive/Genesis are very cheap and can be found online at websites such as eBay. You can even find RGB cables to get the best possible picture out of your Master System Megadrive/Genesis.

Now if you are talking about a SG-1000 or Sega Mark I, I have no idea what the A/V port looks like on that thing, or if it even has one, I bet someone else here could help you with that.

Ask for what I think your asking,it would take a lot of work to make an A/V cable out of a standard PS/2 mouse connector.
