Anyone else excited about Beyond Good & Evil HD?

I loved the original, but never finished it. This is my chance to finally finish it :)

I have it on GameCube but haven't even gotten around to playing it yet. Guess I'll be purchasing this one too.

I'm not sure how much of an overhaul they're giving it. I'm hoping there will be some new stuff.

I did beat this one and it is succulent. In HD, I will take. About time I replayed it.

I have this for the PC but I still haven't got around to playing it yet, I'm hoping it's good since people keep going on about it. I won't buy a remake until I play the original and actually like it.

It is a great game, but you really should play it on console. PC version apparently has glitchy graphics and lacks gamepad support.

Still anticipating Beyond Good and Evil 2.

The graphical issues can be fixed easily enough. There's a certain feature that has to be disabled but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head.
You're pretty much stuck with the keyboard and mouse controls, though.

It's on my list of games to play, I got it in a bundle of PC games which is why I have the PC version. I mostly wanted Dreamfall: The Longest Journey which was a part of the bundle too. I don't even have a gamepad for the PC so I don't mind keyboard controls, I'm just hoping they're not awkward.

I still haven't finished Escape from Monkey Island which I started playing months ago, it could be awhile before I get to this one. LOL

I imagine playing this game with a keyboard and mouse would be pretty decent. 3rd person action games usually fare pretty well.

Weird, I noticed on the wikipedia page for BG&E that the HD version will launch for the 360 in early March with the ps3 version launching later. I wonder if there will be any differences between the two.

I played this near release on PC and never noticed any control awkwardness, nor did I have any glitches that I recall.

It is cool that this is coming out in HD, but I don't really see myself playing it again, I just have too many great games I need to play. Now if BG&E 2 comes out, I may change my mind.

I think the glitches only occur on systems with later versions of Direct X than what the game was originally designed for.
