looking for about 10 of them, can't seem to find any place reasonable
a lot of the ebayers aren't too big on combined shipping discounts... imagine that

If you discover a good place, please give an update. Got about 4 or 5 Nintendo's that could use the upgrade.

It's because they subsidize their low prices with high shipping costs. A classic way to avoid paying fees and discourage returns.

I was searching for this as well, and the only thing I turned up in my search were posts similar to this, people looking for a supplier, only to end up buying them on ebay. That's what I did. Bought from eight-bitkid or someone like that. Quickly shipped them out, and I've heard good things about their quality, though I haven't installed any of them yet. Bought 10 for $50 shipped.

I personally bought "seller refurbished" ones off ebay at a cost of $5 each (free shipping) in bulk off of ebay. Worked fine for me. I honestly don't think you can do much better than $5 a pop on these, which is a good investment if you are planning on reselling systems with game lots. Seems the lots with replaced pins always gets much higher bids than without.
My trouble is finding cheap power cords in bulk for the NES and SNES. I don't think anyone sells those in bulk. I need 3 NES cords and I am up 1 SNES cord at the moment as I always hunt the Salvation Army for them, but garage sale season is soon upon me and I know I'll be needing more cords yet again.
I would also like a few of those bits to unscrew the game carts. I have a tendency to loose them very easily and I need one now in fact. A bulk lot of 10 bits for around $10 or so, you know?

I could have sworn www.electricquarter.com had 72 pin connectors in the past, but I checked and they don't. It's a good site for buying video game accessories in bulk. Ebay is the only place I can find them now. Wish I could help more.
Edit: for the poster above, they do have bits in bulk, but they're not exactly cheap, but they offer minor discounts when buying in bulk. I got mine from there five or six years ago and use them often, they are good quality and haven't "dulled" or stripped. from what i can remember the customer service/shipping experience went fine.
