It's me again! Possible FDS mod

I know, I know, I have infinite questions about FDSs...

Anyway, while I was fiddling around with my system's innards one day, I noticed that there's a wire soldered in the circuit board underneath the battery compartment. I tried to take some pictures, but since I couldn't get the battery compartment to lift very far, it's a bit hard to see.

It doesn't bother me or anything, I was just curious to know what it was for, if anyone knows?

I posted the same question at some point a while ago; it's probably a bypass/workaround for a broken trace. If it is a modification done as part of something like the write mod, you'd have to look up documentation on those and see if they match up with what you see.

If the FDS is operating properly, just leave that wire alone. :popcorn:
