Shining Force Central is currently running a campaign that aims to reach out to Camelot Software Planning (Golden Sun anyone) and ask that they return to their roots and approach Sega about making a new Shining Force game.
So for anyone whose a fan of Sega's original tactical RPG series & Camelot's brainchild please show your support by either submitting a short Youtube shoutout video or writing a letter. None were made by Camelot, and they're generally considered pretty mediocre.

This. Shining Soul II was a decent Diablo clone but it's not amazing. Shining Soul 1 was a steaming pile of crap. And then there was the Shining Force remake, which was fun but it's obviously not the same as a brand new game.
And then there was Neo, Exa, Tears, Wind, and Feather. All of which just... No.

Hell, I'd be happy if Camelot was involved with some kind of Shining Force HD project.
Imagine the first 2 games (hell, why not throw in SF CD too) given the same type of graphical updates the Ys series got.
I'd be all over that.
But yeah, I'd love to see a TRUE Shining Force game (4 anyone?). SRPG, not a Diablo clone.

Shining Force was/is by far my favorite SRPG series. I own all the US releases for the SRPG, including the Sega CD and Saturn releases.
I am still so surprised that the complete SF3 package (all 3 episodes) have not been released via XBox Live/PSN.
If an SF4 ever came out, I would probably end up ordering multiple copies for investments, a copy to play, and a copy to keep in pristine wrapped condition.

The last REAL Shining Force game (for those of us who speak ENGLISH) was SF3 way back in 1998. There's a cell phone SF games and another SF game on the DS but neither one was translated to English. FAIL FAIL FAIL
I would so love to see any SF game return to its roots. The PS2 games are nowhere close.
