Ye-Olde local game shop got in a sealed copy of Nights Deluxe. Well, the disc and controller to be exact. (The box is not wrapped in any way.) I figured they would price the thing to the heavens as usual with things like this, but not this time; it's a cool $40. I put $5 down and agreed to pay every week until the total is met. Nights has been high on my Saturn want list, especially the deluxe edition. But, here's my predicament: it is sealed. (I checked and it is the correct wrap. No re-seals here.)

How much do these typically go for in such shape? I want the game to play and would hate to open it in the case that I could make some cash to buy something else and a used copy with. A BIN ended last month for $50 on eBay and other than that, I've only seen used copies get close to that price. Is this an example of a game that's worth about the same sealed or not? If so, I'd love to crack it open when payment is complete.

This will be the first fresh Saturn game I've ever opened. Thanks guys! :)

Sega parts was selling them for $60 up until recently and they may still have copies. If it's mint with the outer box and everything is new, $40 seems ok. I wouldn't worry about opening it, it's not rare.

I think I paid $60 shipped for two of them awhile ago from someone on these very forums. They aren't really rare or pricey at all.

If its Zone-1 in Helena, thats my old saturn and games. I got rid of my USA system when I got a modded white system.

I didn't care for nights or christmas nights, so I didn't bother opening the USA copy I had. That one came from Game Xchange when it was still around.

It is! That's pretty awesome. Did you trade in those copies of Panzer Dragoon 2 and Iron Storm as well?

Anyway, looks like I'll be opening it up after paying. Thanks for the price confirmation, guys! :)

Yeah, they are ex-rentals from Movie Gallery. I've got some better condition stuff now, and she made me a nice offer for all my stuff. Had I known you were interested, I'd have just contacted you. The boxed saturn, the Virtua Fighters, Sonic R, Daytona USA, all that I traded in. I kept Shining III and a few others. I have a Mega Drive, but she probably wouldn't give me a decent price, so I tossed it on ebay.

Let me know if you want to sell SF3. I'll see what I can do in cash or trade form.
