Hi, fellas! I looked around the forums and didn't see anything like this, so I'll ask here...if there's already a thread like this or if this is the wrong forum, I ask the moderators to take care of it, please!

Here's the deal: I got a copy of Burnout 3 from a friend - a game that I happen to enjoy deeply. But there's one problem: it won't recognize my memroy card at all, so I can't save anything. It says there's no memory card inserted at all!

This is the only game I have that does this; the card works just fine with everything else - including backups. There's enough space for the data on it. I don't know what could be wrong.

Any feedback will be enjoyed deeply! Thanks, guys!

is this a first or 3rd party memory card. 3rd party ones are flakey in my experience.

First party card, which works just fine with everything else. I don't understand what's going on - and one of the reasons I got the PS2 was to play Burnout 3...

Apparently it's a common issue. See here for an example (http://www.operationburnout.com/forums/topic/2031-burnout-3-ps2-memory-card-problem/), and here's another one. (http://www.operationburnout.com/forums/topic/2031-burnout-3-ps2-memory-card-problem/)

There's other posts at various forums that seem to have this issue.

... Both of those links have one thing in common: They're PAL region games...

Kitsune, I guess both links go to the same place! :)) But htanks for the feedback, it's good to know that it's a rather common problem...someone probably found a solution already!

My version is not PAL, though...I'll google harder to see if I can find something. Usually, when it's a game-related issue, I come straight here...
