Okay, so you may have seen the What's It Worth thread about the small pile of sealed NES games I obtained a few weeks ago. Well, today, most of 'em ended up on eBay, with one exception because I'm a "new seller" and eBay's a dick. But that's okay, it's just Firehawk. Here's the list:
TMNT Tournament Fighters: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518301425
Snake's Revenge: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518309364
Operation Wolf: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518312313
Astyanax: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518325532
Gauntlet II: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518327989
Double Dribble: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518330500
Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518340186
Sky Shark: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140518342452
Unlisted are Firehawk, SMB3, and Faxanadu, the first because eBay's a dick and the second two because I rather want to keep them. For now, at least. Bidding starts at $5 for the lot of 'em, which is generally a decent price for any game that isn't Oni for PS2! (I think I paid $2 for that, and still feel ripped off...)

$152 with 6 days to go?
WTF! I thought that TMNT:TF was supposed to go for $50~$75? . . . LOL

You made an excellent decision, auctions always are more interesting than asking 200 usd BIN, kudos !!
I'm going for one or two of your games :D

Never underestimate the power of desperate bidders...specially when they come from NintendoAge!
Ok, so I am just presuming, but something tells me my presumption is correct...I've seen those nicknames bid on high value NES games in the past, and recall reading about it on NA, so I would not be surprised...

I don't think the NA folks are bidding on these. I think many of the sealed collectors already have these items in their collections.

I think bojay was the only one that didn't think this would be going for solid cash.

Hey, if it turns out I'm wrong on this one (which it appears I will be), I'm happy to admit it. There hasn't been an open auction on a sealed copy in quite a while, so there is probably some pent up demand even given the defect. Sealed pricing, especially in the last year, and especially with tax rebates coming in is a crap shoot. I have gotten some incredible bargains over the past few weeks and on the other hand seen some stuff go for record amounts. I suppose that's why nobody has really attempted to do an up-to-date price guide for sealed games as there are just too many variations and price fluctuations.

Just a note that these end tomorrow.
Also...
Double Dribble: 0.0001% Penis
I find it hilarious that as of this writing, it's at $30 and is second only to TMNT in current bid price.

Dude. It's Double Dribble. DOUBLE DRIBBLE. You have to admit, even you're surprised it's going for that much.

$72 for Double Dribble. That might be a record for a sealed copy of that game. Almost $200 for TMNT and just under $100 for Snake's Revenge. Congratulations!

Double Dribble jumped from 41 in the literal last second of the auction. I was watching, and was pretty blown away! But yeah, thanks for the congrats :) This is going into the PAX East fund.

I was expecting sniper action on those. (when TMNT:TF jumped to $152 soon after it was posted and then stayed there)
