New Question 1: The fan On the power source of my neo geo is noisy. What can i do to fix it?
New Question 2: I cannot find the volume control on my Dedicated 2-slot Neo Geo. Any one know where it might be?---Fixed

I just scored an amazing 2 slot Neo Geo today off CL for 75$.

I dont have alot of cash at the moment but have been looking for a decent multi cart.

Anyone have one they would recommend?

According to Klov.com Rally-X is of the Galaxian conversion pinout. What you could do is get one of these adapters to plug jamma boards into it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Jamma-PCB-Pac-Men-Mr-Pac-Cabinet-Adapter-B-05-/310154177235?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4836a12ad3#ht_2496wt_1141

You can then get a 60-1 jamma multiboard and have fun playing. On a side note, I am not the seller of this item. Good luck with your arcade endeavor.

Bought the Rally X. Decided it was too time consuming at the moment to deal with.

New topic.

Why would you edit your original thread to something completely different? Why not start a new thread?

Here was my introduction: http://www.tighelory.com/2010/01/choosing-neo-geo-mvs-multi-cart.html

Personally, I'm waiting for a flashcart. As the multicarts are full of dupes and crappy hacks.

It really is okay to make more than one thread if you have a legitimate question, just so you know.

As for your questions:

1. Yes, mine is loud, but when the sound is turned up you barely notice it.
2. Speaking of which, volume control is on the board itself, right near where you put the cartridges.

Update:
Bought a 150-1 multi cart today from the distributer Welink who makes the multi's that are all over the internet for 58 shipped.
Found the sound button.
Decided to replace the fan, Now it is very quiet.

New question:
Every now and again the monitor will darken, but then i give a quick tap and its fixed. Is there any solution for this?

Thanks for all the help.
