Hey guys and gals, I am just looking for some feedback regarding a CD-I bundle I won on Ebay. I paid $60 for the items and $20 for shipping. The bid I won was for a CD I system and the following games Zelda- The Wand of Gamelon, Dark Castle, Tennis, Escape from Cybercity, Caesars, The Palm Springs Open, and Comptons Encylopedia. It also had a remote control and controller. He said sometimes the CD tray is sticky but it works. The seller also said the CD-I for some reason doesn't save games for some reason?? How'd I make out..??

Well, it's a CDi system.

Don't really need to say more than that.

He probably should have paid you to take it off his hands, honestly. :|

With a Zelda game, the price is a bit on the high side, but still not too bad. The other titles that came with it aren't especially uncommon.

People in prison wish they had a cdi, if that helps any.

Although mainly because you can melt down and sharpen it into a shiv and stick some chump that stiffed you on some squares in the rec hall.

The controller is possibly the most valuable part of the bundle...

Dark Castle was fun for a brief time. Zelda, the Wand of Gamelon is a nice piece for the collection, but most people don't seem to enjoy the game.

I would have waited for a system that works 100%. Yours likely needs only minor repairs/adjustments.

Not a bad deal (What model CD-I unit?), but you need to get some games beyond what it came with...
