Hey all, I've been working on a homebrew game for the original Magnavox Odyssey called Dodgeball. You can learn more about the game by visiting the site I made for it (http://www.atari2600land.com/odyssey/dodgeball.html). If I get enough people interested in it, I will offer it for sale. Note that this is not for the Odyssey^2, but for the original one.

Note that this is still in the works! I haven't forgotten about this project. In fact, it might even be better than expected!

This will probably be released in late June. A second homebrew Odyssey game from me is in the works for the system's 40th birthday.

Is it going to be released on a card like the originals? How about an overlay? I'll take one if you answered yes to both. The market for new games on my Odyssey has dried up as it seems...

Anyhow, I would be interested since I have noticed that the new games market for my Odyssey seems to have dried up.

I will probably have to get this when it's all done. I have an Odyssey, though I don't have any of the game stuff that came with the system when it was new. And also by good luck the only cart I have is #3 so I won't have to go out and get it.

I am busy making a second homebrew game for the Odyssey. "Captain Bruce and His Cosmic Boomerang" will likely be on sale at around March 2012. I'll keep you posted.
