With all humility, I bring you my NES chronogaming site Juggle Chainsaws (http://jugglechainsaws.com).

The goal of Juggle Chainsaws is to play every game released for the NES in the United States roughly in chronological order. The order is accurate down to the month and year. I wish I could get more specific than that but it just can't happen due to NoA'a record keeping.

I'm not trying to finish the games, just trying to get a good enough idea of if the game is worth playing or not. Something like Athena (http://jugglechainsaws.com/athena) isn't. Mighty Bomb Jack (http://jugglechainsaws.com/mighty-bomb-jack) on the other hand is a game that I think a lot of people today don't really know about but is worth going back to play.

If this was just another review site it wouldn't really be anything special. But I'm also doing a small statistical analysis at the end of each year's games. So far the only one I've done is a combination of 1985 and 1986 (http://jugglechainsaws.com/1985-1986-wrap-up/). Starting with 1987's set of data things will be a bit more useful.

I'm also planning on putting in more general articles along the way. One that I've started is a look at the different cover art styles of the different publishers and how things changed over time.

Anyway, I hope you can give my site a visit and I would love to hear what I can do to make it better.

Checked out your site and its pretty sweet. I like how your doing stuff in order of release it makes it easy to follow. I just wish you had videos with some gameplay or something, but thats just my personal preference.

Overall I love it, one question though how often do you get around to updating it?

Spent a few minutes checking it out. It's very easy to navigate and is some great reading! I'll be spending some time a bit later on it reading some more! Keep it up.

I try to do at least one a week. Real life gets in the way sometimes though, which sucks.

Great idea! Seems like you've gotten pretty far already :)
How many games do you have left to do and when you you think you'll reach your goal?

Really cool site theichibun ! I know the feeling about life getting in the way, I've been working on my own site for many years now - but as long as we keep working on it, even if it means one review a week, then things really add up !

Keep up the great work :)

Yeah, life does get in the way. You may go through stretches where you're cranking out updates left and right, but then you might go 1.5-3 months without anything. It comes and goes. It's the ebb and flow of being a one-person fansite. Just keep at it and like Ikermel said, over time eventually you'll have a lot of reading material to offer.

Just checked out your site. I like it. It's always refreshing to see a quality one-person fansite as they are rare nowadays.

I've done 60, am in the process of 61, and have something like 702 more to go. I know it's less than that because I'm going to skip the porn games like Peek a Boo poker. I'm not sure how many of those there are. I also have no idea how I'm going to cover Action 52 and the other multi-game carts except that I know I won't split them up and do each game by itself.

The Gamy Boy and SNES are areas where I think I might expand a bit. Doing those systems as well could add a lot of fun, especially when I get to compare games across the different systems.

Yeah designing webpages takes time but even when life gets in the way you still find yourself thinking about what to include and how it can be improved lol.
Your site looks well polished already.

I thought y'all would like to know that I've been given a pair of gift certificates and am giving one each to two lucky people who leave a comment on my site. More details can be seen over there (http://jugglechainsaws.com/its-contest-time/).

Cool site. I love me some NES and this seems like a good way for me to discover titles I haven't heard of.
