Yes, that's right, I want you to list your 21st favorite NES game. Everyone is always listing their Top 10 or Top 20. Well, let's get away from that for a bit and let's all post our #21 favorite NES game.

PLEASE DO NOT post a long list of your favorite games. Simply post the name of the game that occupies the 21 spot.

For me, I did some serious thinking. Naming the games toward the top was easy, but around the #15 spot things started to get dicey. There are so many great games, I could include many. But as I looked at my small collection, and counted up, I think I finally managed to arrive at my 21st favorite NES game.

Adventures of Lolo. A great puzzler that's still fun to pick up and play. They don't make em like that anymore.

well, i think it's safe to say that gamer favorites tend to diverge as the number spot is increased. (i think we all knew this already)

i took the liberty of performing a best fit curve to the above data. I know it's only a few samples, but it's just for fun. :)

i assumed for #1, we have 3 favorties and for #7 we currently have 12. An exponential regression curve for this is:

Y = 2.3811 * e ^ 0.2310x

using this fit, the equation predicts there should be around 24 different games at position #10. I'll have to start another thread to verify this :)

Ive done a few top 20 lists and the one that almost makes it but can't quite justify is Swords and Serpents. Such a difficult pain in the rear game, but so fun.

You were hoping people would sit down, devise a list of their 21 top NES games and then only offer that last one? Asking people to dig that far into their "favorites" is almost certainly going to result in a lot of arbitrary answers. Pretty much akin to asking what their 42nd favorite is.
