I have a old S-Video cable for the PS2 lying around somewhere, left over from when I owned a PS2 for a very brief period of time.

Would that PS2 S-Video cable work with a PSone?

What about a PS2 component video cable? I don't think the PSone is capable of component output, but has anybody tried using a PS2 component cable on a PSone?

Thanks for any replies on this.

S-video will be fine. I haven't tried a component cable for the PS One, but when I bought mine for the PS2, I remember reading that it couldn't be used with the PS One. Whether or not it's true remains to be seen. On a side note, the vast majority of cables/adapters that work with the PS One/PS2 in almost any combination. Very few don't.

They don't. I've tried using my Monster component cables with my PSOne, and no dice.

S-Video sure does show of those jagged pixel edges. Hoo boy!

The PS2 S-video cable works with the PlayStation/PS one; the component-video cable does nada.

What's your new icon of this time, Zach? It looks like a M.U.L.E from one of my all time favorite computer games (although I think the NES port is the best one). :D

You are correct, sir. I've been avatar-whoring for a little while, but as soon as I found this one (at the wonderful World of M.U.L.E. site), I knew I'd found the avatar to spend the rest of my life with.

I really like the NES version, too. Same great gameplay, but with mildly improved cosmetics. And I'll always take a console version of a particular game over a PC version.

Anyone on here have a Son of M.U.L.E. alpha version, as mentioned at World of M.U.L.E.?
