View Full Version : Sealed SNES controller

So i got a first party sealed snes controller (i think, because it doesnt have yoshi on it but still looks first party) from the thrift store, bur i cant find any sales/previous sales of it on ebay or amazon, when i searched the forum i couldnt find any information that was very useful, so how much would this cost? also there is a macys sticker on the back of it from like 20 years ago

Old first party controllers are much rarer sealed than their dollar value indicates. Most are bought to use, had the box/etc tossed out, then last long after its original owner has moved onto the next console gen.

I can't be exactly sure of that. But if opened to check, it'd no longer be new. Of course. :)

It is, I'm sure of it. The box art, the way it's sealed, and the price tag are clear enough to me that it's official.

I'm not sure how much they're worth though, I'm finding old posts on Nintendo Age that someone was selling sealed ones for $15 shipped a couple of years ago. I personally think that's too low but I can't find any concrete information to confirm otherwise.

They are not worth much. like 10-30$ at most.
