Sorry for the question, but being a noob to the expo I obviously have really no idea what to expect. I heard from a couple of people that towards the end of the expo there is a big trade session. My question is this just a trade thing or are there a lot of games for sale too? I don't really have much to trade and I really don't want to lug all these games to Vegas. I'd rather just lug a bunch back. ;) Thanks for the help.

I've been to the expo twice, and only once did I see the trade session. But I can tell you what I remember.

There were a lot of people there with stuff for trade, it was in the same area that both the keynote speechs and the auction happened. A lot of chairs to lay your stuff out on. Some people bring stuff for trade, but I think more are more interesting in selling. Everyone seemed to have stuff for sale. I remember picking up King of Fighters R-2 for $15, and I saw a guy just sitting there with a Mattel Aquarius for sale. Didn't ask him how much.

And dammit, I KNEW I should have picked up that Aladdin Deck Inhancer when I first saw it... but I saw, if you've got some good stuff for trade, bring it. Someone is bound to want what you've got.

The CGE Swap Meet always immediately follows the Saturday show. The keynote room is cleared out and everyone brings their stuff. Are things for sale? Sure, if it's by owner. It's about an hour and a half free-for all. Some people find a good location and lay their goods out.

I would HIGHLY recommend looking over the CGE photo galleries linked in this very forum. You'll get that "you are there" visual that really helps. There are pictures from the swap meet from just about every show I covered, 1999-2002
