Oh jeeze.. like the mail there wasn't slow enough!
Maybe we should have a bit more exposure on this, I'm gonna move it over to the Gaming forum for a bit!

I hope all of the stuff I'm waiting for from there makes it stateside before that.
I'd hate to think about how it would be if that happend to the USPS.

We wont be striking anytime soon. We got it pretty cushy there for now.

Now if Bush's bill goes through... :/

Is it just me or has Canada Post doubled their prices in the last few months? That's what it seems like to me. :/

Even if Canada Post does strike then we still have UPS and FedEX. So, it doesn't bother me. :)

Prices have gone up =/ Something like 56 cents it costs to send a letter.

I don't find their services slow at all -- it took them a week to send a box of "stuff" from British Columbia to Ontario... It took 3 days to send a box of soap, bath salts, and candles from Toronto to my place. Not too shabby at all. =0 But yeah, the prices are a bit.... much.

Canada Post's prices haven't changed since January 2002. The next increase on a letter is to $.49 in January 2004.

Parcels across Canada are ridiculous though.. It can cost as much a $9.00 to ship a single cartridge across Canada...

It's actually cheaper to ship to the US from here than it is to ship within Canada. As for the strike, looks like it's PROBABLY a reality as of this coming week. Not good! I'm told that everything will just stop dead till it's resolved, and that the last strike lasted 42 days (in the early 80s). Not good at all. Typically Canada Post isn't slow at all though, POG, it's Canada and US Customs that slows stuff down over the border. They've taken to searching a lot more packages and as a result, there's a related slow in the speed of the mail!
