Hey, folks. This just came in today... no, it's not Strider for the SuperGrafx (I don't think that ever really existed anymore), but it is something that we've never seen!

I'll have to take proper pictures after work and make a webpage, so hang on until then!
Edit: Page now added! http://www.chrismcovell.com/PowerConsole/

Holy Macaroni!
When I read the thread title I thought it was definitely an early April fools gag, but judging by those pictures I would say I was in the wrong.
I'm extremely excited to hear more about the games. Without giving too much away, are they all the same game or are there three different titles?

Awesome! I've heard of that peripheral existing, but it's amazing to see some actual photographs.
I have to warn you though, if this is an elaborate April Fools joke I very well may cry.
On a side note, I've been to your site numerous times in the past and really enjoy it. It's full of great information.
Congrats on the purchase and be sure to keep us posted on any/all future discoveries.

The Power Console prototype has been around for a long time now (well at least there was one other out there), but the protos are very new. I'm curious as to how well that Kung Fu game plays.

I remember seeing pictures of the unit in the past, but I had no idea any had ever surfaced. Cool info.

Oh, bummah. Can I ask where the "proto" pcbs came from? They look totally legit (and sweet).
Well played btw. You had me the entire time. You put some serious effort into this one.

Probably the best April Fools Joke I saw this year, but the Internet sets the bar pretty low, I'm afraid.

That's total b.s.! If people are falling for your joke before April 1st, it's not an April fools joke. 2 days too early. Some people think if they start the prank before the date, people won't suspect, and then get them on the date, but in reality they suckered themselves.

Wow, you totally had me! All of the pics looked totally legit, especially because screenshots from a camera are rarely fake. How did you make the picture of the "Power Console" itself? Is it a homemade mold or an elaborate photoshop?

Am I the only one who thinks Super Kung Fu guy's arms look disproportionately short and scrawny? :P

Thrillo, Spar, you may have missed the little "HELP!" link that I added to the bottom of that page. Here's what it links to:

I'm surprised to find out someone actually planned to make that at one point.
(after I heard it was April Fools, I thought the entire console/controller had to be something you entirely thought up as a joke)
I'm a bit confused. Is this "Power Console" a self-contained console, or was it just the world's most expensive controller?
If it's the former, wow NEC... the first game console that it is literally two lesser consoles duck-taped together.@_@
