How much did the reflections box run you? I collect Star Wars CCG.

all the boxes were 10$ each, I'm a big collector of the ccg myself (ALMOST have a full pre-epiosde-1 collection)

I forgot how much i love collectable card games, and opening all these boxes was loads of fun.

Oh, wow. I'm extremely jealous of this one! That is something I dream about. Any nice pulls in there? I'd love to see what you ended up with.

Are these books or VHS?

Star Wars (upper left), Star Trek, Dragon Ball GT and Highlander are CCG's (Collectible Card Games). Superman is a VHS, Joe Cool (Snoopy) is a puzzle and the Star Wars thing next to it is a book.

Just scored a silver Dualshock3 for 20 bucks at my local pawn shop. It's charging as I type this.

Oh and a Nerf N-Strike Maverick Rev 6 dart gun for 1.99 at goodwill. I have like 4 of those now. I'm going to need a tactical harness to carry them all.

It is finally garage sale season around here, and today was a beautiful day to kick it off in earnest. It'll probably snow tomorrow :|. I think I went to about 10 sales this morning, but only found stuff at the first and another that advertised a gamecube w/ 20 games opening at 10am, and I was there at close to 10.

Nice to get a big lot like this from someone that had good taste in games! I paid $70, they were asking $75. Too bad Mario DDR doesn't go for what it used to since I already have that CIB, but 2 copies w/ pads should put a good dent in what I paid. The Wii game was $10, which I paid.

random thought: It would have been really cool if GCN games had come in DS size cases.

That's a great lot.

I'm hoping to do some garage sailing this weekend too. I found Mario/Luigi Partners In Time and Superstar Saga CIB at a thrift store for $2 each today.

It's been a rough craigslist week. For a number of reasons outside my control I've just missed some good stuff - N64 with 40 games for super cheap, 60 game high demand title SNES lot for $80, and finally dealing with a total flake that was trying to set me up to attempt to steal a couple hundred in cash. The whole thing started to smell of an armed robbery in the making.

Anyway, $10 for a copy of Dragon Warrior VII. It was a footnote in a lot of not overpriced but high priced common junk. Shot a couple e-mails back and forth, the seller made the initiative of meeting in an easy to find public place, no hassle - the way all these transactions should be.

No booklet but no big deal for ten bucks. Discs are perfect and the case is good except for a bit of marring on the surface but no cracks and the inserts are perfect. I figure I can try to pick up a booklet later or sell / trade it eventually. While I've been enjoying Dragon Quest VIII, I really don't see myself sinking 100 or so hours into an older school Dragon Quest / Dragon Warrior game.

Finally got to go out to a flea market this morning. First time this year. One of the first tables I went to had some game stuff I was interested in so I grabbed it up. It was a box of misc. GameBoy Color stuff. It contained:

Purple GBC system (with battery cover and batteries)
2 battery powered lights (I think these are for a GB Advance)
2 worm lights
car charger
a couple soft cases that didn't really go with anything
Donkey Kong Country - loose cart
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe - loose cart
Spongebob Squarepants Legend of the Lost Spatula - loose cart
Shrek Fairy Tale Freak Down - loose cart
Wario Land 3 - loose cart

All for a total of $5 so I just couldn't pass it up.

don't feel too bad about passing it up, its not a bad game at all, but the load times before and after every battle add too much time to make the game playable (standard level of dw grinding)

its one of the few games i'd love to play on an emulator with speed throttling or at least reduced load time, as it really does seem like a good game.

Well after playing it for three hours last night I had yet to even get to a battle. I swear, for once all the gaming news sites and magazines saying it has the most boring couple hours to begin with were right.

It's going up for sale / trade. LOL

it sorely needs to be remade on a handheld, it DOES get better, but that early part of the game is mindnumbingly boring, just be glad you didn't have to deal with the slow battle load times ;-)

Broken Playstation 3 (Console Only) - $3

Sonic The Hedgehog & Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing (Genesis, Both Complete) - .25

Wildfire Pinball Game With AC Adaptor (Parker Brothers, 1979) - .75

PS3 was asking price didn't even bother to haggle for that price, tired it out with two different games and it didn't read either of them. 60 gig harddrive 3.15 firmware, seemed hot after only 10 minutes and sounded like the fan was working harder then it should have been so hopefully I'm just reading into all that more then I should be and the system doesn't have more wrong with it. The Genesis games were from a really junky yardsale (backyard even smelled bad just to try and give you an idea of how bad it was) with what was a mess of boxes brought out from the house, I fished the Genesis games out of a box and offered .25 for them just for the hell of it figuring (as it ended up being) that it might be my only find for old games today. The Pinball deal was asking price and even seems to have the correct power plug with it and isn't a makeshift (says Parker Brothers on it). I tried it out and it's kind of neat even seems to shut off if you move it around too much like a real pinball machine.

Put Linux on that PS3. Should make a fun homebrew box. You may want to open it up and clean it eventually, the fat PS3s are loud but only under load or in a cabinet.

Give it a chance before selling it(by that I mean an hour or so after you get into your first battle.) Yes, it does take around two to three hours before you get in a battle but the game picks up at that point. Once you reach Dharma, the game gets better since you can change characters back and forth between classes.

It's got a good storyline, good gameplay, and a ton of content. The easiest one in the series to get into once you get past the beginning.

Not a bad haul today, with help from DKTheArcadeRat, who gave me most of the shit!

$7 for the Lunar II stuff, Disc 2 of the game is missing unfortunately. Got it at the flea market today, otherwise finds were really dead.
$5 for the Saturn Arcade Stick.
$5 for Silhouette Mirage
Everything else was free.

Anyone know how much Lunar II might be worth? Is it worth it to track down Disc 2 or should I just piece it out?

Yes, but once you get two hours into the game(time obviously varies per person) is not the same as once you get 30 hours into the game. The very beginning is just that one long puzzle, which aside from not getting into battles it was still fairly enjoyable.

I haven't checked the value in a while, but if you break it up, let me know what you'd like for the case and box (which I'm missing).

Dragon Warrior Monsters $5
Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones $5

Both cartridges only. I already own Dragon Warrior Monsters complete but since I saw it thought I'd buy it, make atleast twice the amount I paid for it or keep it as an extra. Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones I'll either sell it or try to find the box and booklet to get it complete(if anyone has the rest in good condition.)

Ah man... I'll never find the case and booklet for mine. I'd asked here last year and turns out it's futile.

You guys have had the opposite problem to me. Also about 1 year ago I found a booklet and case, no discs, and had trouble securing those. The bottom line is patience, sometimes on ebay they pop up but not often.
