Saw this on kijiji. It just got a mod chip in it and comes with 3 wired and 2 wireless controllers plus a booklet of 100 burnt games. The guy is asking for 60.

Depends on what it's worth to you really.

Browsing Amazon a system goes for around $50, and I'm pretty sure you could get it for much cheaper locally. But if the stack of DVD-R's and the ability to do lots of homebrew type stuff sounds good for you, go for it.

TL;DR: Modded system for about the price of an unmodded system? Sure, why not?

On gamestop.ca used xboxs go for 30. So 60 ain't too bad. I made an offer of 50 so hopefully he is takes its.

How large a harddrive does it have? If it was a simple chip job I wouldn't pay $50 for it honestly.

I just slapped in a 160gb into an XBox that is half way done with a 128mb RAM upgrade. Bonus is that the 160gb is a SATA drive so I had to use a bridge which would allow future upgrades and replacements if the drive dies. You have any idea how hard it is to get a good sized IDE drive for a good price these days?
