I grew up playing this game and it has a special place in my heart, lol. I was never able to beat it as I would always lose at the circus level. But I always thought it played well and looked very good for such an oddball game. Well anyway, I was curious if any of you have played the cd version of the game. I would like to get a copy if I ever find one. Are there any major differences? Also I'm slightly confused about the scarcity this one is rated (6). And there seem to be at least 2 variants on ebay.

Marco's Magical Football stands as the most disappointing game ever. It's my least favorite game of all time.

I was going through a major Sega CD phase with my friends, where every single game we played turned out to be absolutely amazing. This went on for dozens of games. Then came Marko. We all had high hopes, and they we got the biggest turd of a Europlatformer ever. Jeesh, I hate Marko. In fact, within the past month, I have warned two people at a flea market specifically not to buy the game. One of the guys said he loved Marko (and then proceeded to buy it!), and my jaw dropped. I don't know.

No. Soccer Kid is a zillion times better.

lol haha. I'll admit the game has some problems and can definitely piss you off especially if you don't have the levels memorized because you have shit shooting you that you cant even see yet. But when I grew up I only had a few games so I learned to like it I guess, lol. As far as the CD one I am curious about the US release by gooddealgames.

Yeah, it's cool. I totally understand how that is. And besides, it's kind of a comedic hatred, rather than a totally bitter hatred. :-)
