I can't find these anywhere so I can't get an idea of what they're worth. None on Ebay and only new ones on Amazon. Anyone have an idea? If you don't know what I'm talking about, go here. I've seen the PS2 version of that go for around $25. Not too sure how accurate that is because I haven't looked at them in years. People would use the screens on them for portable game systems a la Benheck.

Thanks! Definitely my first thought when I saw it was "modding potential."

I remember when Kay-B toy went under at the local mall, they were practically giving these things away for $10.

I own 2 for the original xbox.

From the small amount of research I've done it looks like the Xbox version is a bit more common. Both times I looked on Ebay there were several Xbox ones (either in auction or just completed) but no Gamecube ones.

On another note, could you tell me what sort of power supply it requires? I went to test mine and after it wouldn't turn on I did some research and realized it requires an external power adapter. XD

I'll have to dig them out. Allthough I'm pretty sure the adapter is basically generic. I'll give you the specs later.

I do remember having to actually ask the clerk to find 1 more xbox one out back because all They had on the shelf were game cube ones, and I had stopped playing the cube.

LOL That's pretty crazy. Yeah I didn't really think this was worth anything when I first saw it, but not being able to find it for sale got my spidey-sense tingling. I still don't really know if it's worth anything or not. (If/when I get it tested and it's working, tho, it's going up on Amazon, where the only ones available are new for over $100. LOL)

Shit I may throw mine on Amazon then. The things are useless as an actual viewing screen because of the movement of the controller when playing a game. I still have the plastic things they came in and docs also I think, Have to dig all that shit out of the garage at some point anyway's.

There's one used Xbox one on there for $60.
