NES Controller won't work

I went to a local flea market and I bought an NES controller. I tested the controller that I bought and it doesn't work at all. All of the other NES controllers that I used on my NES to this day work great. How do I fix this controller?

Sorry for the double post. I found out the problem. There seemed to be a wire loose from the circuit board. I soldered it back in and now the controller works.
