I've never played it, but Stubbs the Zombie is one of the most creative concepts I've ever heard of. You actually play at the zombie for once, and prey on the humans. I own it, and really have been meaning to get around to playing it one day...

I bought Crimson Skies for about $5 at TRU a few years ago, and liked it a lot.

Burnout 3. I'm not normally a racing game person, but this one is good....definitely in my top 10 games of all time.

Steel Batallion (assuming you want to fork out the cash for it). I unique gaming experience, and the only reason I bought my Xbox.

And as mentioned, Crimson Skies is top notch.

Crimson Skies is a gem on the system and I'm pretty surprised that a sequel hasn't been talked about for the 360. It's kind of like Mad Max with biplanes and has nice graphics, gameplay, voice acting, and storyline. You can find this game all day for no more than $5 and is money well spent.

I started playing Fable today. I must say it is a good game. I'm totally into it. I also got that alien vs predator RTS game. I played it on the ps2 years back so hopefully its good the xbox.

Someone already mentioned these games, but I'll second them:

Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. These games are absolutely fantastic 3rd-person shooter games. Controlling an army of troops one guy at a time is a whole lot of fun, especially with two people. The first one was a bit more balanced though, the second one kind of got over the top with Elite weaponry and medals and the playable Jedi. Still a lot of fun though.

I also noticed no one (including myself!) mentioned King of Fighters NeoWave. Xbox exclusive in the US, excellent port of the arcade version. Think of KOF 2k2 on the Neo Geo, but with some additions and a slightly different cast. There's also a good Samurai Shodown V port on there, but really the Sam Sho anthology kind of renders that moot unless you really want to play as the bosses.

Other good arcade collections:
Street Fighter Anniversary Edition (just as good as the PS2 version)
Taito Legends 2 (EU exclusive, but region free and has Rayforce, an awesome shooter)
Tecmo Classic Arcade (tecmo bowl!)
Guilty Gear XX Reloaded
SvC Chaos (fun game, as long as you aren't hardcore into fighters)

I'd personally suggest the first-party Microsoft/XSN sports games, if only because you can't get them on any system but the Xbox.

It's sad how Microsoft dropped this console like a bag of bricks to work full time on that piece of crap 360. In my opinion the xbox was better than the ps2. The only downfall was the lack of games compared to the ps2.

And I have to mention the whole xbmc thing. Purely genius.
