I have been on this site for some time and have been really impressed with the collections I have seen here. I feel it is time I share my gaming accomplishments since I have looked into many of your personal spaces.

Wow, you've got some pretty sweet stuff there. The collector's kits are particularly cool. That Left4Dead2 one is pretty great. The wife and I really love that game, and I'm from New Orleans, too, so I think it's that much cooler just because. I really like your posters, as well, and it's great that your autographs stuff is displayed. The only advice I can really offer is the same as I'd tell anyone else with a lot of different storage units, and that's that you may want to explore a more uniform shelving solution to lessen the clutter-effect. Then again, some actually prefer the more 'diverse' look in their game room. In any event, that's a pretty impressing collection by any account.

I see that somebody likes Naughty Bear.

The unified storage solutions will be coming once we move. Currently it is what can I afford, my husband supports my gaming by buying me a piece at a time. I still have a few more autographs to display but am still in need of buying frames. Thank you for your comments and compliments, Emperor.
As for Naughty Bear...the statue was pretty neat to have on display. Interesting game.

I have to tell you, I'm pretty envious of your Parasite Eve poster. I really appreciate when people display GOOD posters. Not just for games, but what ever you're into. Movies, music, sports, etc.. They can really add style and class to a space.

And I think you're going about your collecting the right way, piece by piece. I think that it would serve most collectors well if they did it that way. I'd certainly rather have 1 gem than 20 common pieces of filler that aren't special to me in anyway, taking up my already limited space. Again, great collection.

To be honest, I have lost count. One of the things I am planning to do now that it is somewhat in an organized state is catalogue all my games. There are many great sites for handling such a task.
Systems-35 at least, not including doubles. However my Neo Geo Pocket has suddenly dissappeared and I'm really wanting to figure out what happened to it.

Back in the day Squaresoft used to give away posters with Pre-order. I have lots of their posters and little space for display. Parasite Eve was always one of those games that had a great story and incredible music.
Thanks again for the compliments, it is always hard the first time you post your collection for people to browse. It may seem crazy but it feels like your exposing a piece of yourself.

Holy motherload of strategy guides! What a well organized collection.. Love all the Squaresoft PlayArts. Classy stuff.
I couldn't help but take my Advent Cloud w/ Fenrir out of the box and display it, though.
edit: I should notate, however, that I immediately snapped Cloud's leg off trying to mount him on the motorcycle.

btw, it was kind of hard for me to see...but were all of those books strategy guides? do you also collect retro or current gaming magazines?
me personally, i have huge EGM/Gamepro/OXM collection....with several other issues of videogames the ultimate gaming magazine, Gamefan, and some other various publications...
i enjoy the mags almost as much as the games sometimes

Very impressive. :) And, hey, you're a Tina like me, funny coincidence. I mean, the name's not uncommon in and of itself, but it's not like there's many of us female gamers with collections on that kind of scale.

Spaceharrier-Some figures I take out of the boxes, some I leave sealed. I don't plan on selling them, I just really like the presentation of some things in the box. Sorry to hear about Cloud but that could have just been part of his Geostigma. Thanks for the comment.
Ncman-Those are in fact all strategy guides (good luck getting me to find someone to help me move). I have a tub of classic magazines in a closet. PSM, EGM, lots of OXM, Official Dreamcast Magazine...and a ton of demo disks I still need to got through. I find looking over classic mags to be fun. However sometimes I'll kick myself when I see an article of a game I should have picked up at the time.

Awesome collection. Where did you get all of those press kits from? I especially want the Alan Wake one. It was my(and Time Magazine's) pick for game of the year last year and I try to pick up any swag I can for it.

In terms of pics, I only have this really old and outdated topic: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49986
But I do keep an up-to-date text list for myself: http://www.inverteddungeon.com/triacesuperfan/completegamelist.html

I have several more kits that I have yet to take a picture of but mainly got all of them from my work. I agree that Alan Wake is an incredible game and I really hope they do a part 2. You probley have the collectors edition of the game, I ended up missing out on it.

I could tell it was outdated by Pauly Shore being on the television :p
All in all you have a pretty solid collection with lots of different systems. You should try and post a new picture soon if you can. I think it is great you keep all of your games listed, I really need to do that soon.
