Since my first trade offer garnered a bit of response, mixed with spring cleaning coming up, and a few conversations I've had with friends recently, I'm putting this out there.

I'm looking for a Turbo Duo unit or a TurboGrafx 16 combo with CD Unit and Super System Card.

I don't use my DSi XL anymore, which is why I'm in the process of trading it for the Sega CD and Genesis. But, this one is a little harder to part with because I still use it on occasion, especially for Blu-Rays. But, since I have a Blu-Ray player in the house(I got one to match my old HDTV I gave my aunt when I upgraded mine), the hit's a little easier.

I have up for trade a Playstation 3 Slim unit. I am the original owner and it will come complete in box, with Monster Cable HDMI cable, 750GB HDD BUILT IN, and 3.55 Custom Firmware, so you can back up your library of PS3 titles to speed up loading times as well as back up your existing PS3 library WITHOUT A DONGLE! Also included will be the PS3 Remote Control for your library of Blu-Ray movies.

For the trade, these are what I want out of the system:

-The system with all hookups and controller.
-MUST BE IN WORKING CONDITION. There have been reports of trouble with these things down the line. I just don't want that to happen to this.
-I'm not even going to ASK for the box because I know it's an assload just for it. All I really want is the system.
-Modded units are a PLUS! I'm trying right now as we speak to acquire a unit which is modded to run both US and Japanese HUcards.

If you want to include games, I also have a small Blu-Ray library that I can part with:

The titles are:

-Halloween(Rob Zombie)
-Halloween II(Rob Zombie)
-Friday The 13th Killer Cut
-Bolt
-A Bug's Life
-Back To The Future: The Complete Trilogy
-Adventureland
-Wrestlemania XXVI
-Goodfellas
-High School Musical
-High School Musical 2
-High School Musical 3: Senior Year
-Tron Legacy(4-Disc Pack)
-Freddy vs. Jason
-Friday
-The Matrix
-Blade Runner(5-Disc collector's edition. Standard; no briefcase)

Yes, I'm crazy. But, I've been always DYING for one. Came close a few times, but never scored one. I figured that this is my best chance to own one.

Just sell the ps3 and bluray discs and use that cash to buy a duo. You'll be better off than trying to trade.

Yeah I could do that, but I live in the inner city, and Gamestop doesn't take movies any more, even then there's no guarantee I'll be able to get one. At least this way, I can almost be assured of acquiring one.

The turbo dou is quite an expensive piece of hardware, and so are the games. You`d be better off just keeping your ps3.Not trying to deter you from getting though.

You'd be WAY better off, in my opinion, getting a Japanese Duo. The Duo-R and Duo-RX are more reliable. Both the US and JP original black Duo has some sound capacitors that seem to leak eventually, ruining the sound and maybe more down the line. If these are replaced, it is good to go. Otherwise, if you get an original Duo you should research how to replace them.

For the record, Japanese PC Engine games are quite a bit cheaper than the US counterparts and there is a LOT more selection. The CD games are region free, so you can still play most US RPGS with no trouble.

I concur. I picked up a DUO RX last summer and I will never go back to plain ol' vanilla DUO!

PS3 Decided to overheat and die on me. That's what I get for getting a faster drive than the PS3 can handle. Mods please lock!
