They're cool, but part of the B-Daman toy line: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B-Daman
So it's a boring marble gimmick, not an homage to the classic Bomberman games or anything.

sorry guy,s i been busy and almost forgot, these are 3 inches tall and the
marbles are cats eye type:) are b-daman from japan right? if so then
these wouldnt be part of that series because these are marked on the
back with;#986 made in china(all are)no other markings.also i think these
could be from two diff sets? judging from the eyes.
forgot to add the guy at shop where i found these
said they have been sitting in there since he began working there 10+years ago,
