Ah, Blaster Master. This game had me terrified of anything radioactive when I was a kid. But man, what a kick ass game. :D

"Baster Master is one of those games that retro gamers tend to romanticize about. The unique blend of platformer and run-and-gun genres combine with cutting edge graphics, a catchy soundtrack, and a fantastically original storyline to create this Sunsoft success story."

Nice review, cool site. I like the scoring system.

Only in a retro title could you design a game around a concept like this.

That's a shame too. Video games are too serious and sophisticated now, I guess. Not to say that the advancements in design/storytelling isn't a good thing - but I miss the ridiculousness of many retro concepts. I'd love to see more games constructed "manatee-idea-ball" style. Not all of them, of course but not everything needs to take itself seriously or even make a shred of sense.

I concur, the layout of the site is really nice especially the individual review areas. And the reviews are well maintained. Excellent job.
