I have not sold anything in quite a long time and don't remmeber the whole fee process and I have not read the new rules so this may have already been answered.

Now that they will be charging a fee on shipping, how will this work in the cases of combined shipping?

For instance I just bought a few games from a particular buyer who combines shipping, but a revised invoice must be sent to me with the new shipping charges, so does the fee apply to the shipping charges at the time of the sale or the revised shipping after it is combined?

I would assume it would be the revised one.

My guess is that Ebay will simply take the fee from the money sent and that's that. If the total included combined shipping, then they will take it from there.

Although know how money hungry the bastards at Ebay are, I wouldn't be surprised if they went the other route.

I'm told that it's based on the shipping amount on the invoice sent to the buyer. I see this getting screwed up but that's what I'm told

Yea but if you buy multiple items you get the initial amount as if you just bought x number of items all with their own shipping, and then a second invoice must be sent, this is where I seeing problems arise.

According to the eBay rep I chatted with its based on the one that's paid however I have a feeling that this is going to get screwed up a lot in the early stages. I'd say to keep an eye on your receipts to make sure that you're being billed the right amount but of course eBay does make it that easy to monitor this on an auction by auction basis.
