Hey Guys,
One of our authors teamed up with a very talented artist to create this retro gaming comic. It just goes to show how similar beat 'em ups were back in the day. Hope you enjoy, we are hoping Nick and Danielle will do more of these!

There are different stories and sub-genres of beat 'em ups. Examples-

Knights of the Round
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (arcade)
Golden Axe
Captain America and the Avengers
Downtown Special: Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki dayo Zen'in Shūgō

Not to take the wind out of anyone's sails or anything, but you can say this about practically any game genre. With that said, beyond rudiments, the games they mentioned share very little in common (as fighters go). I get what they were trying to do, but I can't really give it much of a nod. :|
