Turning tv to input channel

Is there a way to get to the input channel on a tv without the remote or a menu button on the tv itself?

Dam, I guess I can try buying a new remote and program it to the tv

Some TV's let you get to the input mode just from cycling through channels, it's usually before channel 01, and other TV's let you get to it from the menu. It just depends on your TV and getting a universal remote will probably be your best or only option.
