Only one console and five games? I'd start doing pushups like I used to, completely sure that I'd find some horrible mutant monsters to fight in real life.
If for some reason I was locked in a room with electricity, I would be stuck with an impossible choice that makes my head explode even thinking about it. I would play Revenge of Shinobi, Strider, Shinobi III, Streets of Rage 2 and Sword of Vermillion. That last one is just because I haven't ever finished it. I get lost in between play sessions and have to start over, but I've always loved my play time.

I would probably go with a SNES with:
1) Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World
2) Link to the Past
3) Final Fantasy III
4) Chrono Trigger
5) Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Atari Jaguar.
Yeah, seriously.
Tempest 2000 could keep me busy forever
Missile Command 3D
Defender 2000 or Protector SE
Zool 2
BattleSphere
I like high score chase games, and this would give me three types of them to play for a long, long, long time. I really enjoy Zool 2 far more than is normal, and I tossed in BattleSphere for good measure ;)
Very good Atari Jaguar choice of games.
I would swop Missile Command 3D for Flip Out!
Wow, Mario and Zelda does rule on SNES overall, just goes to show how little 'other' excellent titles there were.
