After being quiet for awhile, the news just leaked that tri-Ace is making two new handheld games, and it's especially interesting because they're brand new IPs, with gameplay concepts that tri-Ace has never done before, and they're working with Konami for the first time ever.
Frontier Gate has multiplayer as a big focus and is getting a lot of comparisons to Monster Hunter. Here's a link to some pictures:

Beyond the Labyrinth gave me an Etrian Odyssey vibe from the text descriptions, but then when I saw pictures, I realized that it wasn't first-person or grid-based. Visually, it seems a lot like Ico. I think this one looks even more interesting than Frontier Gate. Here's some pictures:
