View Full Version : My first arcade cabinet

Decided to take the plunge and add an arcade cabinet to my collection. I saw a posting on craigslist for a number of machines, costing 75-125 bux each. I quickly decided that I would be interested in the one on the left:

I wound up picking it and bringing it into my (admittedly cluttered) abode:

At this point, the plan is to fix the monitor (I'm guessing it needs caps, since the screen is scrambled & the adjustments aren't helping) and eventually repaint it. At some point, I'd like to get one of the 60 in 1 boards installed, which should be fairly easy since this was already converted to JAMMA.

And of course, since the counter is present still...

Cool! What other machines were they selling? And is that the same Bloody Wolf that was on the TurboGrafx-16?

From what I can tell, it was the the same game as was seen on the TG16. Not to say that I can see too much of the game at this point- the picture is fairly scrambled.

As for the others, I will have to admit, I was looking more at the cab design than what the actual games were. I only specifically remember that a fairly decent Rough Riders cab was there. This is the ad:
