Hi, guys, i badly need to find a official sony (made by sony) memory card for my ps 2 slim to use for my playstation 1 games. I know there alot of fakes that look real and wont work with the slim ps 2 units. Can some one give me some advise? Thanks!
I'm looking at this but im not sure if its real.

That one looks authentic as best I can recall though remember you're buying online and there's always the possibility that what you see is not what you get.

Here's the best deal I think you're going to find:

Avoid anything that says "1 Mega" on it. This is news to me, but it looks like someone has been making uber-cheap memory cards that don't last.
If you want a third-party card, look for the Interact Playback. It has 24 "pages," so it's the equivalent of 24 cards. Mine has held saves for approximately a decade (and counting), so it's definitely not a junk product.

there was a thread created by a memory card collector on these forums if i remember correctly, he posted up some really detailed instructions on how to spot fake from real, if i remember correctly, i think real ps1 memory cards if they're the see through kind only had like 1 small chip as opposed to 2 side by side little chips on the fakes, or vice versa lol, forget which
