So yesterday I bought a Colecovision and some games from a store that specializes in old consoles.
They hooked everything up at the store to make sure it worked, and it did.
Now, though, I can't get it to work.
No video or audio shows on the TV.
But it was just working yesterday?

I checked the hookups and everything's fine.
I know the audio/video cable works because it just showed up on the TV yesterday and I know my TV is fine because my Atari shows up on it.
I don't know what to do.

Just a silly question, but did you make sure that the console, the switchbox and the TV were set on the same channel (2 or 3)?

Also moving this to the right sub-forum. :)

Update:
Got the system to work by cleaning everything.
But now the controllers are...not the best.
Is there any place to buy controllers, besides eBay?

Yeah, I checked the channels.

And thanks =)

The CV controllers were never great even when new. Luckily for 1-player you can substitute Atari or Genesis controllers, while leaving one CV plugged in for the keypad and start buttons.

I never knew that thanks for posting it. I've bought numerous semi-working Colecovision/Adam controllers and this will save me money in the future at least!

Awesome, thanks!
This has been working really well.

Great! Glad to help!
What games are you playing? and which controller?

I found the Super Action controllers to be much, MUCH better than the standard Coleco controller.

There is also a third-party keypad accessory. It allows you to connect a keypad to p1 along with your favorite atari controller.

A basic Colecovision controller at first, now an Atari controller.

I don't have many games. I have Donkey Kong, Omega Race, Carnival, and one or two other miscellaneous games.

I bought a few of those that don't work properly off eBay. Are they "working" yes but barely, nothing you can count/depend on.

But with the one good one I own yes they are better than the standard controller.
