Hey, folks. Yes, this is at least 5 years too late, but I pulled my OneStation portable out of storage recently and felt the need to review it and take some screenshots of the 16-bit games package. Check it out if you're interested:

Biggest problem with those is that they suffer from the backwards B/A button syndrome for NES titles.

Otherwise they're really nice little Famiclone/Genesis/Megadrive clones with A/V out and the original software is interesting if not typically derivative.

What does that mean?

Is this the origin of the games in the VG Pocket Caplet? I have the VG Pocket Caplet and noticed a few of those games. The games are interesting, especially Deep Storm, but they all have a shady quality to them (some games use ripped sprites and others are balantant ripoffs of other games. One game even ripoffs Gunsen Oyoyo (sp?)).

Edit: read the Jungletac page. They made Onestation and VG Pocket Caplet, which explains why they have some of the exact same games.

Shame that Deal Extreme no longer sells these, I had no idea there were games for the OneStation that weren't pirate compilations. Mr. Covell I really appreciate you bringing this to light, just love reading about oddball video game stuff.
