What do you think a cib collection of all the NES, SNES, N64, GAMECUBE games would be worth. Speaking of store released games. no competion carts, or games like, racermate, or macs carts.

Such a thing would be very difficult to put an actual price on since you have to take into account people's time, effort etc. Do you actually have all those CIB sets?

At a random guess, I'd say $20,000 - $30,000? that may be too low though. Finding an actual buyer for all of that would be near impossible.

One things for sure, it'd be "worth" way more than anyone is willing to pay. When sold as a lot, it'll never equal it's part out value.

So playing the guessing game, maybe worth $50k+, but probably no one willing to shell out more than $20-$25k.

Yeah, I gotta agree. Gorillions.

For one, selling them as a complete set would earn you a solid 30-40% less than you would have individually. So let's say you don't.

NES: $30,000
SNES: $10,000
N64: $3,000
Gamecube: $3,000

Let's round up and say $50k. Keep in mind, this total doesn't include, all complete and in good condition, Stadium Events, Myriad/Caltron 6-in-1, Cheetahmen II, all 3 Panesian titles, Flintstones II, which would drive about a third of the cost (About $16k).

Selling something of this magnitude would create such a fervor that you'd very likely end up with individual auction prices that would make people on NA jizz in their pants and me cry in my cornflakes. That mob-auction mentality is insane.

I don't know if it gives an idea of value, but I did see a lot of 170 sealed N64 games sell for over $5,000 a few months ago.

I do remember about 5 years ago somebody listed a complete CIB US SNES collection (along with about 70 duplicate sealed games) at about $15K and it didn't sell.

getting very close, IM pretty much done with nes and n64, I am finding that snes is very very under rated. If you have the cash you can have any nes games, even stadium events, but ive looked years and years for some snes stuff and havent got the items. could be maybe some people have the items but i sure havent found them. took me three years of looking everyday for a cib copy of 3 ninjas kick back. in 15 years of collecting 3 ninjas is bar far the hardest game i ever acquired.

I agree that yes it would be hard to find a buyer for everything. I know I wouldnt let my snes collection go for less than 25K
