DOA Game Gear Games

Anybody else seem to have trouble with GG games? I have by far run across more dead GG games than for any other system. Mind you this is still only around 5 of the 100 or so I have owned over the years but it seems strange. It is always a game that otherwise looks brand new. No matter how much I clean the contacts I can never get them to do anything, even on a different system. I have had hundreds and hundreds of Gameboy games and have never run across a bad one. Anybody else run across this?

I dunno what to say except when I first read this thread I thought "wait, did Tecmo put out Dead or Alive games on the GG??!" :roll:

I only have about 10 GG games myself, and have not come across this. Nor did I ever have a problem with them back in the day (although it was all new then). My only suggestion is maybe try them in another GG to verify, if you have one. Or send them to someone to see if it works for them.

I have some GG games that I have to keep reinserting for them to work. Sometimes I believe it the cartridge slot that's dirty.
