Well, he DOES have a point -- I remember when I bought a bunch of NES games from Funco and EVERY ONE had to be cleaned and cleaned WELL. People just don't take care of their games.

Honestly you get more if you mention that you clean and test every game. I used to get so many emails that that phrase became part of my template and sometimes my description.

People do believe what you tell them to believe. If you spice up your auction and make the game sound exciting, you will sell your game before a plain old regular listing.
