Xbox - I only have a handful of games for it, but ironically a couple of them I've never even played.

Overall, including hand-helds:
Atari Lynx - I need to pick up a few more games.. But it might have to do with the fact that the backlight (despite its adjustability slider) seems to always hover between too dark and BURNING SCANLINES PERMANENTLY INTO MY RETINA.

My Saturn, by far.

Probably my Jaguar. All the games I have for it suck, plus mine is broken.

Haven't been playing the PS2 a lot recently, either.

Atari 7800. I really need to dig this thing out and clean it up. Does anyone have a controller schematic for it? The controllers I got with it are trash. I was thinking of hacking a controller out of a genesis controller for it.

My PS 1 as I play almost all of my PS games on the PS 2.

I forgot to mention the Game Gear. I've got a whole bunch of various games for it, but no interest in playing it. Like I stated before, when the Lynx is the first portable you own, you get spoiled. The Game Gear seemed like such a second class machine. Plus, the three units I own all have no sound, and I don't have the desire to take them apart and recap them.

I never even opened my Tiger.Com system. I had it and two games for like 4 years and since I never opened them I just sold it on ebay. That person got a really good deal too because it didn't sell for much.

It's a close call between my N64 (I might play a game on it once every six months or so) and my PS1 (ditto).

Least played in total gaming time = definitely my Game Gear, since I only got it recently and it needs to be recapped.

My Vectrex is probably #2 behind that, and #3 is either my Odyssey^2, GameCube, or PS1.

My least played console? That's easy... it's the Super A'can. I mostly let it sit there collecting dust, but sometimes, just for fun, I give it a good kick. Also, when I really feel like relaxing, I use it as a footstool. But actually play it? Who the hell would want to do that?!

Atari Lynx - I need to pick up a few more games..

Have you taken a look at Zaku (http://www.zaku-lynx.com/)? :)

I have most well known consoles and the only one that I have pretty much not played at all (PS3 games anyway) is the PS3. It is only used as a bluray player.

What gets the least amount of time currently? My SNES or PSP. I've had my SNES for years so I've beaten everything for it I wanted to except for the repro games I've just started collecting (and haven't had a chance to dive into).

For my PSP, once I hacked it up I just... stopped playing it. Pretty stupid too since I keep buying games for it that I know (or at least hope) I will beat one day. Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday, Tactics Ogre, Peace Walker...

Ugh.

Hrmmmm....Intellivision, because I simply cannot tolerate those controllers, they were pretty odd(aka shitty) way back when, and add 30+ years to that original recipe, it ain't any better...

And the colecovision, only because it has a graphics glitch that I haven't mustered up the time to fix

My Fairchild Channel F - I hooked it up and tried it when I first got it to make sure it worked, and then it went right back in the box.

This is the exact same reason why the Intellevision is my least played system. When I play baseball I dont want to have to look down to be sure I'm picking the right person to throw the ball to.

At the moment, it's either NES, SMS/SMSII, or Xbox.

SMS and xbox for me too. Both are suffering right now from me playing different consoles in spurts- I'm on a bit of a Jaguar kick right now. But xbox suffers the most because I bought it solely to play Steel Battalion. It's the only game I have for it!

Probably my Neo Geo CD. Not because of the loading times, as I don't own, nor care to own vs. fighting games for the system. It's because I only have one game for it, Sonic Wings 2. It's a fun game, but I played it for a solid 3 weeks earlier this month and it's time to shelve it.

Probably Wii. I have one game for it; Tales of Graces. Now that they released that for PS3, Wii is in its box until the games I'm kind of interested in come down in price to the point that I'm willing to pay for them.

CD32 I guess, although if you consider clones to be separate systems from the consoles they duplicate, then it's definitely the RetroDuo.

I have

Sega Genes
NES
PS2
SNES

Playtime is in that order. I couldn't get into the SNES as a kid and still today I'd rather play Genesis or NES over it.

All of my consoles, hah. I'm far too lazy to set anything up most of the time so I just stick with my computer and admire my collection from a distance!

I don't know if this counts, but I haven't played my SNES since I broke it by leaving it on for about 24 hours at a gaming sleepover I had at Christmas... and I can't find the power supply or any of my games for the Atari 2600, so haven't played that in a long time. I also rarely touch my Amstrad or ZX Spectrums. I hardly play any of my games to be honest T_T

Atari 2600, but because it's broken. And also the PSX, since I'm using the ps2 to play the games know (but, since I keep playing the games, I don't know if it counts).

Among the working/connected systems, the SNES is the least played (I own: NES, SNES. PSX, PS2, a Dactar 2600 clone and a Genesis).

Fatalstar64

I have NES, SNES, N64, PS2, Gameboy Color and a 3DS.

I'd say my least played of the ones hooked up is my NES simply because you can't save in most games and I don't have several hours in a row free to dedicate to finish a game. PS2 is in the closet though don't really have games for it anymore so that's why it's not even hooked up.

1) PSX (only use this for imports. Only have 3 imports :P)
2) Fairchild Channel F (sound doesn't work, don't have many games)
3) Atari Jaguar (Tempest is good, aside from that, um. Have hooked this up three times.)

Also: NES (Wii VC is fine for my needs) and DC (most of its good games have been ported to other systems).

Man...I am appauled by all the unplayed Nintendo 64s out there.

Well add me to the pile of unplayed N64's. I try to like it but I really do hate the damn thing.

I'm more appalled at the unplayed 2600/7800's out there. Now THAT's blasphemy.

I can't play them like I could when I was a schoolboy on summer break anymore. As much as I would prefer to play NES for real, I usually resort to emulation for a long game for save state functionality.

Does anyone know if any of the various NES flashcarts allow for 'save states' of some kind?

I always played the N64 at my cousin's house but after I got one, I didn't play it as much as my other consoles. So I would say that my least played console is the N64 while my most played console is the Super Nintendo.

Then again, I haven't played my GameBoy Advance in years...

Hmm... some NES games are quick though and thats why I really like the older games so much. No load times just fire up the console and play. I can get through Contra and Super C both in probably under an hour. I usually equate the longer needing to save games with the SNES.

For me it's the Dreamcast, nothing personal against it - it just uses the same connection type (S-video) as 2 other systems I own and I only have 2 plugs on my TV so it's always a bit of pain having to crawl in behind the tv to switch the connection. Also, I just recently started collecting for it, so I don't have that many games yet. Though I don't know if I ever will, it seems to have a pretty small library.

Definitely Xbox 360. I can't remember when I turned it on last.

VG_Maniac

The Intellivision. I picked it up at a garage sale about 6 years ago, and played it a little bit when I got home to make sure it worked...and that was it. I haven't played it or even plugged it in since. I hardly ever play my Dreamcast either. I probably haven't put a game in it for well over a year.

As for which current mainstream system I play the least, it would definitely be the Xbox 360. I hardly ever play the thing. My Wii has been collecting a lot of dust recently too though, as there hasn't been any games released on it since Donkey Kong Country Returns that have interested me. My SNES and NES are still my most played systems by far.

Probably Bally Astrocade. Fun to have, but I never feel like hooking it up and I haven't really enjoyed the games that much. I've played it maybe twice in the last 10 years. If you count portables too, then Game.com.

I don't know if this really counts, but my CDX is not for playing, period. It works, but my model 2 CD spins all the Sega CDs I play. The model 1 and CDX sit next to each other, and the crappier games I have for them. Next least used is Intellivision. Then my Odyssey 2.

My CD-I and Atari Lynx. I've never even turned them on. In fact, they might not work at all. :)

I did, however, hook up my Virtual Boy (for only the second time ever) last night.

3rd post in this thread has mine: Game.com. Somehow that doesn't quite seem to count, though. My least played is probably the original Xbox... I've never actually done more than test it for a few minutes, unless you count a couple halo nights at people's houses. I certainly have no antipathy towards it, though.

Now for one I actually dislike I'd have to go with a Model 3 Sega Genesis. I didn't even know it existed till I found one cheap in a thrift. I was thinking how cool it was and all and then I hooked it up and it was kinda bleh. I mean, objectively it isn't *that* bad, but it was a big letdown because of how cool I thought it would be.

I was given a Saturn probably 6-7 years ago with about a dozen games, and it has seen maybe ten minutes of use. It needs a new video cable, and I have never gotten around to getting one.

I've been reevaluating my collection recently, so hopefully I'll trim off some of these lesser-played platforms soon. As it stands, I haven't touched any of the following in well over a year or two:

Atari 2600
Atari Lynx
Sega Game Gear
Xbox
Game.com

... and of the stuff in my "regular rotation", I'd say my Saturn gets played the least. I love it, but I don't have many games for it and I've played them all to death. I want to get into some of those fancy RPGs everyone's raising a fuss over, but I can't spend the cash right now.

Sega Master System's been growing cold a bit lately, too. Not sure why. After that, the Nintendo Wii, which I haven't played in any lengthy amount since SMG2. My PS3 gets used mostly as a BD player -- not sure if that counts.

I've been playing my NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, PS2, 360, DC, GC, N64 and TG16 with some regularity over the past year.

Quoting myself to say that I have been enjoying the N64 more lately. Being an old school gamer I really love Robotron 64 and there are several racing games that I've really been playing a lot of like RR 64 and Beetle Adventure Racing.

So as of right now, I'd say my PS1 is now getting the least play - at least for the moment.

Nintendo 64. I got one the year it came out but only ever got Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye. Goldeneye was loaned to a friend who loaned it to one of his friends and thus it disappeared forever. Rented and played a few games occasionally but it has never been as much fun as the NES, SNES, or PlayStation was for me.

Most of my systems get play pretty often, but I know of two that are definitely tied for that designation: N64 and Sony Playstation.

The N64 (the Pokemon version for my girlfriend) sees little play for a few reasons. First of all, it is mostly for my girlfriend's benefit. It has the lowest number of games (9) in my library and 1/3 of them are Pokemon games! I do have Super Mario 64, Kirby 64, Donkey Kong 64 (man, what is up with them using 64 on everything?), Cruisin USA, Yoshi's Story, and Paper Mario (besides the three Pokemon games). I am not a big fan of Super Mario 64. Kirby is okay in small doses. I'm not all that keen on Donkey Kong's 3D adventures. Yoshi's Story is too cutesy for me. Paper Mario is fun, but it can be too much trying to pick up weeks later and figuring out what I am doing. I love popping in Cruisin USA, though.

The second problem is that godawful controller. Having to grab the middle of it for some games and hold it like a regular controller in other situations does not sit well with me.

The Sony Playstation was one of my favorite consoles when it came out. I have plenty of games for it, but they did not age well and look like garbage on my HDTV. I will mostly pop in Namco Museum Volume 1 and Volume 3 when I do play it. Heck, I bought a couple of the Rampage games (Universal Tour and Through Time) and I hardly touch them! My Sega Saturn sees more love and I have about half the games my Playstation has!

Used to be the Sega Game Gear before I sold it. Nowadays, it is the CD-i. Fitting since the only "game" I own for it is Shark Alert, unless you count a video cd of Rocky 5.

Definitely the 32X. Although I have the complete U.S. library (if you can even call it that,) Pitfall is the only 32X game I have that is not factory sealed.

~Edit~

Forgot that I have an Atari Lynx. I play it just as infrequently as the 32X but since I forgot I even have one I think that bumps it up to #1.

Not counting the 8, 16, and 32 bit systems that I keep in a closet. My Wii definitely gets the least amount of play, along with PS2.

I don't know how I'd even begin to guess that, unless you're just talking about current generation stuff. Since I've had a PS3 for all of a week now it's easily that.

When you add all the retro stuff I've got in the basement, I have *no* idea which one I've played the least all time. I'd probably guess the Odyssey 2, since I never played one as a kid and only played it right after adding into my collection.

LaserActive. I really just bought it as a novelty (albeit a pretty expensive one). I have an X'Eye for Genesis/Sega CD, so the LaserActive just sits on the shelf looking impressive.

Besides that, the Neo-Geo CDZ doesn't get much playtime, either. But that neglect isn't necessarily deserved, since I have a few games I WANT to play through. But for some reason, I just never do...

For me, most played is N64; least played is Xbox - in fact I bought two second hand Xbox's a couple of years ago very cheaply, with games, and haven't even turned the system on yet.
