Picked up 27 NES games at GS a few days ago for an average of $5 each. They were about that price in the guide, so not too bad for me. Then I got even more at another GS today for about $4 ea. The best part about today was 5 mint sleeves and one good one free with the games I got! :D
Most are VG or better condition:
Dr. Mario
Jeopardy 25th Anniversary
Snoopy Sports
Guardian Legend
Blue Marlin
After Burner
Hogans Alley
Arch Rivals
Baseball Simulator
Tiger Heli
and some Star Wars game

I had a heck of a Tuesday at thrifts, game stores and even Ebay. At my local GW, I found 3 Genesis games, mint and complete for $1.99 each - Warrior of Rome II, Risk, and Chuck Rock II. I also got a stack of obscure, mint condition laserdisc movies for .99 each (there's still a crapload there, mixed in with the albums at the 27th st. GW in Milwaukee if you're interested). And then the capper for me was a Macintosh Color Classic for $3.99. Because you need a keyboard to power it up, I think the pricer and the other buyers thought it was dead...but with the addition of one of my ADB Keyboards, it works great. Been looking for one of those for years!
At another thrift, I found 2 loose SNES carts for .99 each...Gradius III and Earthbound! I also found this large white Lazer Tag Rifle for $2.99...cool lights and sounds, has a bit of a Battlestar Galactica look to it, and it goes for about $50.00 on Ebay.
Picked up a bunch of boxed complete Genesis games at a few local Gamestops, along with a stack of game guides. Guides were $1.99 and the games were .49 to $3.99...nothing really rare, but at buy 2 get one free pricing, they couldn't be beat.
Then my second capper of the day was at a used game store where they usually hideously overprice their N64 games...I found a mint complete Ogre Battle 64 for $14.99! WooHoo!
Finally, the mint complete (with map even) copy of Pirates Gold for the Genesis I BINed from Ebay for $18.00 arrived today! My Tuesday kicked ass!

Well sir, one might consider the stubby sword and general unplayability of the game and then construe a lack of value. But yeah, that one's pretty hard to find. Tried it out yet?

Picked up an R-Zone Super Screen system for £12. I imagine they're far more common in the US than over here. I rarely see R-Zone stuff about in the UK.
