DS Lite Outer Case Cleaning Problem

Like the topic says, just got one. The main problem is it's been written all over the outside and inside with a black marker. What is the best way to clean this thing to get the black marker off and not damage the finish of the case? Any special type of cleaner or has anyone had a similar problem that can help me get this thing clean again? Thanks for any help.

I would just use rubbing alcohol. I've used it on cartridges, plastic cases, and even glossy cardboard to get rid of marker and I have never had a problem.

I've had success with rubbing alcohol and Goo-Gone.
