WTB: Doom and Diablo PC Big Box + some others

Hi all :)

I would like to buy Doom I and Doom II pc version, I prefer on floppy disk format. I want CIB and with a big box.

Same for Diablo I CIB and Big Box.

Interested too in Hugo's House of Horror.

If you want a big box copy of Doom you'll have to go with the Ultimate Doom package, which was CD-ROM only. The 'original' floppy release of Doom which was mail order only isn't very common (because most people were happy to just play the shareware version) and came in a very slim cardboard profile.

is there anouther big box version thats just a black box that says DOOM on it? i picked it up awhile ago at half priced books for like $10. it came on floppy disks.

The one with just all black and with just Doom on the cover, might be a European version.

Can you take some pictures of it ?

The alone in the dark I'm looking for I can't find pictures on google.
I think I saw once this game released in a big box with floppy disks, the cover was a little greenish with the guy in front of the mansion.

I have that Doom set you are looking for...it's complete with the 4 floppy disks and the manual with an addendum in the same box from your picture. I'm also not sure I'm ready to part with it (I have it in a prominent place on my PC games shelf), but who knows. PM me an offer if you like, and I'll let you know if I'm ready to let it go.

I really have no idea what they go for, they rarely show up for sale as was mentioned previously.

I've got Ultimate Doom on CD myself. I'd kill for a set of floppies but I'm broke. Hope you've got the hardware to actually use those too.
