yep like the sun coming up infinity ward or the corpse parading around like it is infinity ward are releasing a new COD game under the modern warfare banner.

now i will jsut get it out i reserved my 2 copies today and got 2 double sided posters and i will just spoil it now. the other side is a Time Magazine cover that sets the mood right away. its worth it since the poster is fucking huge, the 2 alone take upa whole 2/10th of my damn wall.

but i hope mp is changed up this time...also giant zombie mode

Why would you pre-order now for a silly poster? This game will be heavily promoted and will likely be sold with credits, gift cards or under MSRP through Amazon, TRU, Kmart, etc...

I'll pick this up as I'm a COD multiplayer lemming LOL

Although all the fluff doesn't really matter to me, and I haven't looked at the single player mode since COD4.. What that means is I'll probably just get the cheapest disc-only package. :p

I'm surprised it's not named Mod3rn War3far3 or some other garbage. The Call of Duty franchise is pretty much analogous to a video of somebody milking a cow at this point in time.

Sometimes people enjoy silly posters. He can always cancel and pre-order somewhere else if another bonus pops-up.

I would only preorder it as long as I got an unlockable Shaft character to play as.

I'll be getting MW3 because I'm a fan of it and prefer it over the Treyarch games(even though the mp in Black Ops is awesome). As for the poster, I saw it in a news story today and it's causing controversy because it depicts a war torn New York, complete with damaged building. I wonder what that will remind people of?

I also agree with the milking but this is the reason why in 2009 they tried to rename it just Modern Warfare. That way they could tell people that COD and MW games are seperate entities and aren't being milked since they only come out every 2 years. Of course we'd all know that they are still the same but the general public is usually oblivious to this stuff.

I would buy this.

Activision needs to implement functionality for guitar controllers and Ride/Shred peripherals as well so they can maximize the number of special editions available at launch. It's not like retailers such as Gamestop stock games for any other publisher and they have TONS of shelf space available. :)

I'm a sucker for "bro-fest" games. Not sure why exactly. Perhaps I have bad taste? I am looking forward to Battlefield 3 more, but that doesn't preclude me from buying and enjoying MW3 also. I'm genuinely curious about the product that will get put out since IW is essentially a shell of its former existence. I have decided I do not like Treyarch games. Even the "good" ones don't feel as tight or highly produced as an IW title. We'll see if the new IW can maintain that experience.
