Another cassette for the CompuMate (VCS computer add-on) was found in Venezuela, first there was PictureMate, 3 known to exist, now a SongMate was found as well ( one so far), R12 for sure.

Obviously he (the guy who found the game in Venezuela) is gonna sell to the highest bidder

Link? And i hope it gets dumped to a wave file...that is, if it's ever opened. It looks opened, though.

But if one was found...sealed for that matter, there are others around.

Actually, two were found by the same guy. He says he is selling one via auction at Atari Age and keeping the other one. Given that this came from the famous Venezuelan warehouse, there are likely additional copies out there.

Dang, talk about an incredible find. I wouldn't want to be wearing white pants when I came across those. :yipes: So, other than PictureMate and SongMate, were there any other announced titles for the CompuMate?

Exactly, maybe even a game on cassette or Basic?
Wonder why nobody knew about these cassettes in the first place, and I cannot find any info in US magazines either.
We need to track down some ex Spectravideo employers.

I found a Spectravideo website, but there's no info either, it's mainly Spectravideo computers, like after their VCS venture.

That's nice if you had them for sale for like $50 a piece, but the rate they're going....no chance, way too much $s for me.
Any chance of copying them onto tape or CD and selling copies?

Actually, did I buy my CompuMate from you like 2 months ago?
