i got a gameboy. the plastic piece that covers the screen got some scratches all over it. Is there a way to remove the scratches?

It may be easier to remove it and purchase a new one like this: nonfinite electronics (http://www.nonelectronics.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=11&zenid=ea5b964dfffa5daaf239db61fc775020) I was in a similar situation and they're as authentic as you're going to get. (a lot on ebay don't have the 'dot matrix' print)

mine aint so scratched that i need to replace it. it got a couple of minor scratches but i plan on displaying it so i want to somewhat make it neater.

You can buy Novus plastic polish and give that a shot. It comes in different levels of abrasion, with no. 3 being the harshest. I would recommend getting a set of #1-3 and starting at #2 and only going to #3 if needed.

Also if you have some laying around the garage somewhere, some decent automotive wax works pretty well. If it's aggresive enough you can buff out the scratches.
