Are you bringing someone who doesn't hang out with us on the boards?

Just curious. I'm going to be meeting a long-time internet friend of mine, also one of the staff writers on my site, who I've never met in person. Not necessarily a full-time retro-gamer, but he's been known to start MAME up from time to time. I doubt I can get him "into the hobby," at least not on the level that most of us here are, but he'll be tagging along anyway. (P.S. - so everybody BEHAVE!) LOL

So who's tagging along with YOU who doesn't lurk on the boards?

Bringing along my husband Michael. He can recognize the board from across the room because I'm on it so often (and the color scheme is pretty recognizable), but he has not actually visited the forums. Fortunately, he's pretty interested in the older systems and cabinets, just not as obsessive about them as I am. Should be fun! :D

Thanks man...yeah I can't wait. It would probably be worse if someone was coming with me anyway. Once I hit the show floor I'd probably completely forget about them and ditch them...I don't want to do that. :-D

I am bringing my wife, Kim. She doesn't really get too much into games, other than Ms. Pac Man, super mario kart and kings of the beach volleyball. I was told by her that while I am at the CGE, she will be shopping and maybe gambling. :o Damn this is going to be expensive! 8-)

She is looking forward to it nonetheless. It has been quite a while since we went anywhere, because our kids are so young (4 and 2 years old). Can't wait to see you all there.

I'm bringing all the surviving members from the entire lineup of the 1979 Chicago Bears. I don't think any of them are into games at all, but I kind of lied about what the "classic gaming" part meant and promised them a ton of royalties.
