Two issues of Wizard magazine $1 each
Adrenalin Misfits(360) $9.98
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(PS3) $4.98
Master Chief Wacky Wobbler $4.88
The issues of Wizard were picked up at a comics store clearance bin and both the 360 and PS3 games were Target clearance finds. The Master Chief figure was grabbed at a music store. I guess when I open it the head is suppose to wobble or something. I just thought it was a nice Halo collectible.

Streets of Rage 2(Gen)
Streets of Rage 3(Gen)
Street Fighter II Turbo(Snes)
Spier-Man(Gen)
Super Mario All-Stars with manual(Snes)
Super Mario World(Snes)
Super Mario Kart(Snes)
Super Mario Bros. 3(Nes)
All of these games were acquired at my first yard sale. In total they were $20 or $2.50 a game. I left behind a few things that I didn't think would sell as well, like Lethal Enforcers. The only game I kind of regret not also grabbing was Super Mario Bros. 2. And this was the second copy of Super Mario Kart I have ever found in the wild. For awhile there I was starting to think this game was kind of rare. On to the next yard sale...
http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC0555.jpg
Half Life 2 strategy guide $1
The Orange Box strategy guide(sealed) $1
Microsoft Office One Note 2007 $4
Microsoft Student 2008 $3
The Time Machine dvd $1
Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf(Xbox) $2.50
Lego Star Wars(Xbox) $2.50
Lego Star Wars II(Xbox( $2.50
This yard sale was advertised as having lots of PC games and accessories with some video games. I was hoping to find rare game like Alice but no such luck. He had alot of games but most of them were common. Since I arrived early he told me that he had to make another trip to bring back the rest of his stuff. So after I grabbed a few things I waited for him to come back and grabbed some more.
The Microsoft software was the first things I grabbed, not really knowing if they were worth anything. He had alot of linux software and books but I had no idea where to start. He told me that he would have even more stuff tomorrow but I didn't go back since it was an out of state yard sale and I already got a good amount of deals from him. If he has another one next week I'll go back.

Xbox Live Arcade (No Manual) - 1
That game never had the manual to begin with.
Some good finds from my local flea market today xD
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a54/Zamioa/23f69ce7.jpg
-Final Fantasy VIII & IX ~ $14 (Both are Complete and in Near Mint Condition)
-Ico ~ $7 (Complete and in Mint Condition)
-Wii Classic Controller ~ $10 (Mint Condition)
-Snatcher ~ Free with Ico (Complete and in Good Condition)
I found FFVIII & FFIX hidden under stack of old CDs and Laserdiscs in a box and they asked for $7 each. There was another table nearby that was selling a Wii Classic remote for $10 and I brought it. After some walking, I found Ico mixed with a lot of old DVDs at one vendor and they were offering a buy one, get one free deal. I dug a bit into the container and to my surprised, I managed to find Snatcher in there. I handed Ico and Snatcher to the seller and a few minutes later, I was on my way Home :onfire: Seems to be a good week for games for me :D

Everything in the picture was a buck each asking price. All games complete, Gran Turismo 4 from one seller and the rest from another seller.
That game never had the manual to begin with.
Thanks, I didn't know this but had a feeling that maybe Xbox Live Arcade didn't have a manual.

I got a few unexpected finds this week:
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for $9.97 (New) - I needed some packing tape to reinforce my comic boxes, so I went to Staples to pick up some up. On my way out, I peeked into the clearance bin and found BBS marked $19.97. But when I went up the cashier, I discovered that their clearance games were 50% off this week!
Sonic the Hedgehog #0 for $1.50 - I was quite surprised to find this in a physical comic store. I was even more surprised when the shop owner sold it to me for the cover price! Although, it might be because the comic has small tears on the bottom of every page. Oh well, it's still cool to own the very first issue of Sonic ever printed.
Redwall: The Adventure Begins DVD for $3.50 (Used) - It's the first half of an animated series, based on the novel by Brian Jacques. I'm still disappointed that they never released the second and third seasons on DVD in Canada. The US got them, but they're out of print now and insanely expensive.

Took the girls up to the flea market to look around for a few hours. I found a new comic booth set up in the main aisle. All of the boxes had the books marked $1 each. I found some Bronze era Superman/Action Comics that I didn't have and got them 7 for $5.
We didn't stick around long enough to look for any game vendors so we left and I hit up a GS that was on the way back. On their used DS wall I found CIB copies of Glory Days 2 and Zenses: Rainforest for $5 each. On their PSP rack I found Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman used for $18 and on the new side I found Valkyria Chronicles II for $20. :)

Adorable Amaterasu mini-painting: $12
There was a neat video game event going on at my city's art gallery yesterday, with a lot of local game designers, along with representatives of the local hackerspace showing off projects and that kind of thing. A woman named Isabelle Kilimnik was selling her mini watercolours of game characters. There was no way I could resist this cute Amaterasu. <3 I'm going to put it somewhere in my apartment. I found a decent dollar store frame.
Today, not pictured:
Old Navy had a dress sale on today, and I picked up a couple of great summer dresses. No photos. :b

I've got the Donkey Kong but mine's a little more beat up. I had the Pac-Man one when I was a kid and someday hope to reacquire one. I don't know how we didn't drive our parents insane with the noisy whine of Pac-Man and another electronic game we had, I Took a Lickin' From a Chicken. :ass:

Isn't it adorable? I saw it in a box of toys and for whatever weird reason, I had to have it. Despite the rest of the stuff at the sale being really gross and dirty, that little guy was just sitting there, clean as can be. He even smells nice!
Nice. I'm still looking for a cheap copy of Uncharted.
Yeah, I went to pick it up and only then realized that it was sealed. I owned this game once before but the frame rate and motion in the game gave me a headache (I'm super motion-sickness prone). I'm hoping to try it again and maybe push thru the pain until I get used to it. Funny, since most 3rd-person games don't have that effect on me.

I actually used to own both of these same games, but sold them along with a TRON a few years back. I wish I hadn't, since they were all in really great shape. This Donkey Kong has some fading on one side, but overall, they still look really nice; all stickers are intact, including the instructions on the bottom, and both still have their battery covers. I already own a rough Frogger machine, and plan to display all three on a shelf soon.
I remember playing the tar out of DK when I was a kid, as well as that Mattel electronic football game, and a ton of Tiger LCD games. The beeps and whines still haunt my memories.

These are from yesterday. The CD case thing, Fantomas: The Director's Cut and the Office Standard 2007 CD were $5 total - I bought the Fantomas album because my current copy has a few scratches.
The DVD on the right is Going Postal with Brad Garrett. It was a buck, brand new.

This is from today. I know I said I'd lay off the soundtracks, but really...
Kill Bill Vol. 1 Soundtrack
Kill Bill Vol. 2 Soundtrack
Mark and Brian: You Had To Be There (new)
Dune (DOS CD)
Leisure Suit Larry's Casino (Win 95)
$5 total. I've seen that Mark and Brian album in the past, but only now did I actually pick it up. The first CD is a bunch of radio skits, while the second is a bunch of different artists. So I figured why not.
The Kill Bill Volume 2 CD has an odd spot. Hope it rips fine...

Oh man, I would love one of those. How much did it cost you to make, and where did you get it done?
Originally I was going to try to get it printed locally since there are a couple print shops in San Jose that I've read good things about. However most of them were only open weekday mornings, which doesn't fit anywhere with my work schedule. This is the same reason I ended up printing the bezel underlay for my MAME cabinet on my own. The lowest minimum print order I was able to get quoted was 10 shirts, since it was white printing on front and back. Some shops originally quoted the minimum order as 4 shirts until I mentioned I wanted printing on both sides, then it usually shot up by 5x.
With CAX getting closer and not wanting to have a few cases of shirts, I decided to just have it done online. I (regrettably) went back to cafepress, which I have a pretty rocky relationship with. Turnaround time was like a week but they charge an arm and a leg for two sided "dark shirt" printing. All said and done, it ended up running me about forty freaking bucks to have the shirt made. However the first shirt they sent me had a stain on one side right out of the package. So I e-mailed them about it and they sent me another to replace it. After four washes of pre-treating, I got the stain out, so I guess you could say I paid $20 each for two shirts. LOL I was still pissed that the first shirt arrived with a stain, considering how expensive their service is. Pretty surprised they didn't go "THAT'S COPYRIGHTED!!!" right out of the gate, this has been a huge problem I've had with them before.
You do have to wash their "dark shirts" a few times to get a square of haze out of the front and back, I guess it's the prep area for when the printing is done. After three or so washes it fades away and the shirt softens up.

Picked up resident evil 2, 3, and one other resident evil I cant remember for .50 a piece complete. Also at the first sale I stopped at about 130 dvds for $70 including some box sets. at that same sale got about 8 360 games all mint for $1 EACH! She goes oh my kids didnt price them. Borderlands, Bad company 2, assassins creed II, and bioshock were the highlights. And again at the same house got about 6 n64 games for .75 each including super smash bros, donkey kong, and other good titles. And at a rummage sale in the morning I also got paper mario for n64 for .50, and the rest of the day was stereo stuff. Got about $1400 worth of vintage stereo stuff for under $150. This was the first decent gaming finds Ive had in a long time.

Yard sale run this morning... out of six stops, only one had some good game related stuff.
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b235/joshnickerson/dpblog/Finds_06-2-11Q.jpg
$15 for the lot, but unfortunately, the battery in Pokemon Gold is dead. Why is it every Pokemon game from that generation I come across has a dead battery? Maybe I should be checking my own original copies...

And I found this for $4.00 at the dirt mall. Simon Belmont sure looks weird on the label.

Pokemon Gold and Silver used a real time clock, even when the game is turned off it's still keeping track of the time and date which is why the batteries keep dying. I don't bother buying these games unless they're complete or included in a bigger lot. Yours are complete so nice find.

That's not Simon, it's Sonia Belmont. That's the last Castlevania game I still need to find for the original Gameboy so congrats on that too.
Today I went to the flea market for the first time this year, absolutely nothing was worth buying. It was mostly the same vendors as last year with just about the same merchandise as last year, including plenty of worn and beaten VHS tapes. One guy who's been there for a few years had some NES games but they were all common and the vendor sold me a defective game before(was a real pain to get a refund, was a $10 game) so I didn't bother with them, he also had those same NES games last year. Yard sales were bad too.
However I went to a thrift store that was close by and found a complete copy of Buck Rogers for the Genesis for $2.50, I'm just hoping it still works fine.

N64 System With 4 Meg Expansion & Power Plug - 1
Mario Strikers Charged (No Manual) - 5
Didn't bother to take a picture for Friday's stuff since it wasen't much then forgot to include it with the picture I took for Saturday. Asked 2 for the N64 took 1. MSC was marked 7 and took my offer of 5.

Tekken 3 (Complete) - .25
Deus Ex (PC, Sealed) - .25
Sega Genesis Model 1 With Hookups, 2 Controllers And 4 Complete Games - 2
The Xbox Games, SWFU2 & Deus Ex from different sales and all asking price. Tekken 3 didn't have a price on it, offered .25. Genesis bundle was marked 5 and took 2.

Xbox Wireless Controller - 1
Game Gear Bundle (Another System Under The One Pictured) - 5
Misc SNES Stuff - 1
Xbox controller was out with no price, offered a buck. Found the Game Gear bundle out which somehow survived at this price till about 8:45, was asking price. The lady did mention that the power goes in and out (on both of the systems?) so maybe anyone else that was interested before me had a change of heart after hearing that. I found the Misc SNES stuff at one of the last sales of the day, was in a big box kind of off to the side on the porch. Was unclear to one of the sellers (and to me when I noticed it) if it was for sale. Asked the lady who it belonged to and it was for sale and said I could make an offer if I was interested which I did in a buck.

All of the guides (except for DMC), manuals & 2 demo disks were free. PSP game is disk only but the rest are complete. It came up to 27, Fire Emblem was 2 and I don't know what they were asking for the DMC guide, I offered 20 when I walked up with everything which was taken.

NES With Everything Except TV Hookup, Game Genie With Book & 9 Games - 35
Tripped over a yardsale on the way to the flea market Sunday. When I asked about video games they brought out the NES stuff. They actually brought it out pretty fast (only took a minute or two) I think they were actually planning on selling it and just haven't gotten to bringing it out yet, this was about 20 minutes before the official start time of the sale. Looked it over and asked about the missing TV hookup (only to be told any A/V cord would work). Wanted 40 and I said I was thinking more like 10 to 20. I suggested meeting in the middle at 30 and was told that 35 was the best they would do.

VHS Tapes - 2
Fable: The Lost Chapters (Sealed) - 3
Game Boy With Star Wars In It - 1
Rise of the Triad: The Hunt Begins - 1
VHS tapes were .50 each or 3 for a buck. I picked out 6 and paid. The guy told me I could add in one more if I liked so I grabbed the Sailor Moon Movie. I don't really know anything about anime movies on any format (value wise) but the box also included a decent number of Gundam, some Sailor Moon and one Escaflowne tape from what I remember. Fable was 5 from a regular and took 3 (some tears in the seal). The last 2 from another regular RotT from a dollar table and the GB with Star Wars I found in a box and he said a buck would work.

1 vs 100 dvd game 50 cents
Batman: Return of The Joker(Nes) $2
Super Mario Bros. 3(Nes) $2
Yoshi(Nes) $2
The Adventures of Link(Nes) $2
These were snagged from a combination of a huge community yard sale and a Goodwill stop. Nothing too spectacular but the 1 vs 100 game was cool. Since I can no longer play this live over XBL with several tens of thousands of people at once I'll take what I can get. And the Star Wars: KOTOR guide reminded me that I really need to replay that game again. Hopefully soon.

Wow, nice find on Radiant Dawn! Would love to find a cheap copy of that, it doesn't seem to be very easy to find in Gamestops, let alone in the wild. I loved Path of Radiance, and I hear this one is a direct sequel.
I'll have to track it down one of these days.

Woo, picked up a Genesis Model 2 for a whopping 2 bucks on Saturday. The kicker is that came with 2 controllers, something I didn't even need. I may try to move this on Saturday at NAVA but the thing is in such good shape I may just keep it (my current Genesis is a model 3... not sure how I feel about this).

Zelda OOT (3DS) new (for me!)
Charge N' Blast (Dreamcast) - $6.99
the newest Pokemon Ranger game (DS) - $25.99
then hit Play N trade to get:
Tetris (GB) - $4
Pokemon Puzzle Challenge (GBC) - $8
Pokemon Blue (GB) - $8
Pokemon Red (GB) - $12
Mercs (Genesis) - missing manual $4.50
and because the guy knew I was a collector, he gave me a box and manual in GREAT shape for Toe Jam & Earl on the Genesis - for free!

Yeah, I know, that last bunch of games doesn't amount to much, but for me, it was really the find of the week: anytime I can knock out a stack of DC games for my collection for $2.50 (down from $3 each) a game is a good day! Almost all the cases are in really great shape and the discs look even better.
The Mbox 2 Mini was a nice little pickup. I already have a rack-mounted firewire recording setup, but I've never used ProTools before, so this'll be fun to try. I paid asking price as the seller wouldn't budge, but I asked if he'd throw in the snowboarding game for free and he agreed. My friend bought PS3 Ghostbusters (complete) from the same guy for $4. I passed on it since I'd rather wait and pick it up for 360 eventually.
I always liked the cover art for Junction, so that was a fun little find, too. It was one of the first Genesis games I ever rented, way back in 90-91, and I remember being furious with the difficulty. We'll see if it happens again.

Yesterday:

Jakks Ms. Pac-Man Plug n' Play

[GBA] Donkey Kong (NES Classics)
[NDS] LifeSigns
[NDS] Nintendo DS Browser
[NDS] Polarium
[NDS] Ultimate Band
[XBX] Halo (Not for resale thingy)
When I got back home I found out that I already had both LifeSigns and the Nintendo DS Browser :( Ultimate Band was a gamble, since it's most likely not worth playing (The back of the box really doesn't do anything to sell the game) but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
I decided to pick up only the Donkey Kong even though they also had both Xevious and Ice Climbers. I'm starting to wonder if I should go back and pick them up as well. Advice?

Why am I not surprised? ;) Anyway, the Techno Trax compilation is a great find if you're into earlier techno. Techno Trax was, along with the Trancemaster series THE compilation series to have. Judging from the cover you got one of the better... L.A. Style, Interactive, U96, Age of Love etc. Those are classics in every sense of the word. I can't count the number of times I've played those tracks while dj'ing. Great find!
